In a recent poll, 90% of hifi enthusiasts said that cable management was their biggest frustration. Well, I was hoping to find a poll that said this, but either way, it's a real pain. They're always either too long or too short, and most people are too lazy or too nervous to be cutting a piece of wire they just paid $100+ for. There are many cable management solutions out there, but Sumajin's Smartwrap is specially designed for those times when your cord is just a bit too long, and you don't feel like breaking out the wire strippers and electrical tape.

These little things are the prefect blend of weight, flexibility and durability. The outside is very soft, and will treat your cords right. I know what you're thinking, "why not just use a garbage tie?", and my reply would be "A GARBAGE TIE?, you spent how much on those buds, and you're using a GARBAGE TIE?". I know it's not important for everyone, but the Smartwrap's design and style is up to par with the Ipod standard. Operation couldn't be simpler. Just snap one end of the cable in one of the notches(I prefer the end with the jack) and start wrapping. Once you get to the end, just snap it into the other notch and your golden. They're just long enough to wind up the stock Ipod buds, up to the split.

They come in a variety of colors, including Ipod white!

Larger cables can be wrapped, but you don't get much on there without back tracking.

If I back track, I can fit my Phillips HE590's on one comfortably, which are about 5' total.

SmartWraps are one of those great little extras to have in your bat belt. They're so small you can keep one in your pocket, and they're so simple, they could be used for a variety of purposes. Just think about how many times you've thought about cutting that cord, or maybe how many times you actually have. Then think about how cool it would have been to whip out your SmartWrap to save the day. For more information, and other cool little rubbery things, check out Sumajin
